Members of RealEstateAuctions.com’s growing Atlantic Coast Florida team met last Saturday to discuss a variety of topics vital to the territories they cover, including expansion, a region-wide or state-wide auction event on November 3, 2012, as well as referral fees and co-op fees for outside brokers.
“It was a great day,” enthused Laura Mancinelli (second from left in the photo), Southeast Regional Director for RealEstateAuctions.com. “We did lots of brainstorming and so much good came out of this meeting.”
A Panera Bread shop in Broward County was the casual and comfortably appropriate setting for a gathering of REA’s team of auction and real estate sales professionals with decades worth of experience among them.
Rebecca Giacobba (far left in photo) is the company’s Team Leader in North Palm Beach. Carmen Bernard (second from right) is Team Leader in southern Broward County and Frances Pimentel (far right) is Team Leader in Miami-Dade.
“We’ve already got new Team Leaders that are not part of that photo,” says Laura. “Judith Poten has just joined RealEstateAuctions.com and is covering northern Broward County and Nathan Guilford will be representing us in the Treasure Coast area.”
In addition to the topic of new staff opening up new markets for the company, the team began planning the groundwork for the November 3 auction event. “We hope to feature 40 to 50 properties, possibly more,” says Laura.
Key to hosting a successful auction event, and building strong relationships in the Realtor® community, is the establishment of referral fees and co-op fees, an important topic of the meeting. Details are currently being finalized with company ownership, but all members of the team in the meeting agree that outside brokers will enjoy working with RealEstateAuctions.com.
“Carmen had a great idea of contacting agents whose listings are about to expire, and urging those agents to introduce their clients to the auction option,” says Laura. “That way, the agent can still earn a fee if the property sells at auction, rather than just watch the listing walk away when it expires.”
More information about the November 3, 2012 auction as well as referral and co-op fees will be available shortly.
In addition to the Atlantic Coast Florida team members pictured and mentioned above, RealEstateAuctions.com is represented elsewhere in Florida by Team Leader David K. Easlick, based in North Ft. Myers on the Gulf Coast.
