Two information-packed days are on tap for auction professionals at the Real Estate Auction Summit, Feb. 7 and 8, 2012 at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel Atlanta Airport, 3400 Norman Berry Drive, Atlanta.
The summit is being held by the National Auctioneers Association (NAA) and features a packed curriculum of cutting-edge courses, approved for 14 Continuing Education Units by the GA Real Estate Commission.
Day One, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., kicks off with an instructional session titled “Maximizing Productivity Through Better Technology.” The session will be led by Verl Workman, international technology and sales expert, real estate agent, trainer and coach.
A panel discussion takes place next that will explore the topic “Real Estate or Information Technology–Which Business are You In?” The discussion will be moderated by Stephen Karbelk, CAI, AARE, CEO and Founder of the National Commercial Auctioneers.
A second instructional session will be held titled “The Critical Path to Doubling Your Sales in 2012: How to Become a ‘Freaking Sales Animal’ “, also presented by Mr. Workman.
Instruction for Day One will conclude with a panel discussion “From RFP to Closing the Deal on Complex Sales”, moderated by Mr. Workman and featuring panelists J. Craig King, CAI, AARE; Rex D. Schrader II, CAI; and Max Spann Jr., CAI.
A Meet the Sponsors cocktail reception will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Highlights of Day Two, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., includes a presentation by Terri Murphy, e-communications startegist, real estate trainer and entrepreneur. An author of five books, a columnist and consultant, Ms. Murphy is renowned for providing practical solutions for building successfuil businesses.
The summit’s highly interactive, advanced training sessions will cover the following topics: Developing and maintaining startegic alliances, measuring success and failure in the market, recruiting top performers, strategic business planning and more.
