Bidder Registration
Prospective buyers should arrive at least a half hour early to register. In order to bid, buyers must produce:- Cashier’s check as earnest money in an amount specified for the property of interest
- Personal check to bring total down payment to 5% of the final selling price of any auction the bidder wins
- Government-issued photo ID, such as driver;s license, non-driver's state ID, passport, etc.
- Prequalification statement from lender no more than 30 days old. Our preferred lender(s) will be on hand to assist.
Introduction and Practice Auction
Our auctioneer helps everyone taking part, in person and online, understands the format and rules of the event. A practice auction is held to warm up the crowd and illustrate how easy it is to participate.The Actual Auction: Lights, Camera, Action!
Professional-grade audio and visual gear broadcasts each property on huge screens and via the Internet as bidding begins in the room and online. The auctioneer introduces each property and works the crowd with the help of roving bid assistants as each successive bid is placed. The auctioneer makes certain that everyone in the room knows another property has successfully sold at auction.Contract Signing
Contract Signing Following the close of bidding on a property, the winning bidder proceeds to the contract room to sign documents and produce the earnest money funds with a representative from RealEstateAuctions.com.
